We are currently looking for ATIP Officer's.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:    SECRET as a minimum.  

LANGUAGE PROFILE:     Bilingual

QUALIFICATIONS:     

Education:

• Secondary school diploma is required
• Certificate, diploma, or degree in accounting, finance, commerce or other relevant field from a recognized post secondary institution is required

Experience:

 5+ years of relevant experience is required

• Advanced extensive experience as a senior ATIP Officer in processing Access to Information requests under the Access to Information Act (ATIA)- managing full caseload files, determining what information is relevant to the requests, reviewing records and making authoritative judgements on exemptions or exclusions under the ATIA, preparing documentation for approval of senior management and preparing detailed letters of response to applicants and other stakeholders, contacting/negotiating with applicants as required.
• Experience working with ATIA and Privacy Act (PA) 
• Experience handling complaints from the Office of the Information Commisioner.
• Experience using ATIPflow tracking system and ATIPImage.

DUTIES:    

• Processing Access to Information requests under the Access to Information Act- determining what information is relevant to the requests, reviewing the information for possible exemptions or exclusions under the Act, preparing documentation for approval of senior management and preparing responses to applicants, contacting applicants as required.
